About The Modeling Contest

The goal of the contest is to give everybody who has the desire to model a platform in which they can showcase their talent. It is completely free to enter and the voting is based entirely on the viewers of the website.

How do I enter the contest?

To enter the contest, simply go to our model sign up page.

How can I rate models?

To rate models you must have a general account (as opposed to a model account). To create a general account go to our sign up page. If you have a model account you will not be allowed to partake in the ratings. Models can, however, vote during the tournament period of the contest.

What’s the difference between rating and voting?

There are essentially two phases to each contest: the rating period and the tournament (when voting occurs). The rating period lasts a few months and is a time when only general users can rate each model. The reason for this period is to determine the “top 32” – the 32 highest rated models. When the top 32 are determined, the tournament will begin and a bracket will be assembled where models will face each other in a head-to-head matchup. This is when you can vote for one model or another.

How exactly does the contest work?

There will be a block of time (usually a few months) where models can sign up for the contest and fill out their profiles. During this time, viewers are allowed to rate each model once per day, based on a five star scale (five being the best).

We will then close the contest from new models sing-ups and there will be a period of time (usually a few weeks) where only voting can occur. The purpose of this is to eliminate models from signing up just before the tournament starts and having an unfairly high rating.

After this strictly-voting period is over, the tournament begins! The tournament will consist of a bracket of the 32 highest rated models. Each model will face off against another model while viewers vote on which one they think is better. The model with the most votes will move on in the bracket, while the model with the lesser amount of votes will be eliminated. This will continue until there is only one model left. This last remaining model will be crowned the winner and take home the top prize!

What does the winner get?

Each competition will most likely have a different prize.

How many contests are there?

Our goal is to host four contests per year – one for each season.

Can I sign up for multiple contests?

Definitely. In fact, if you didn’t win a previous competition, we will automatically submit your profile to the next competition. If you do not want to be automatically submitted there is an option in your profile admin page to turn off this feature.
